Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 69 reviews.

A piece of industrial culture for your home – The Zollverein Coal Mine cushion

Bring a genuine piece of German industrial history directly onto your sofa with this high-quality cushion. The Zollverein Coal Mine in Essen, once the largest and most modern hard coal mining facility in the world, is now considered an architectural masterpiece and is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The striking double-trestle winding tower, also known as the "Eiffel Tower of the Ruhr area," adorns this cushion and stands as a proud symbol of the transformation and energy of an entire region. The clear lines of the Bauhaus architecture by Fritz Schupp and Martin Kremmer are reflected in the stylish design of this home accessory. Anyone who loves the Ruhr area will immediately feel a deep connection to the tradition of mining and hard work underground upon seeing this motif.

Whether as a decorative cushion on an armchair or as a cozy cushion including soft filling on the couch – this accessory brings the raw yet warm flair of the "Revier" into your living room. The durable cover is reminiscent of the resilience of the historic monument and invites you to relax in style after a long day. Thanks to the practical zipper, the cover can be removed and cared for effortlessly, ensuring the splendor of the "most beautiful coal mine in the world" is preserved for a long time. This cushion is the perfect gift for true Ruhrpott enthusiasts, those with a deep connection to their home, and anyone who appreciates a piece of industrial culture. Make yourself comfortable and be inspired by the unique atmosphere of the Zollverein Coal Mine.
